A warm, well-established family based on Palm Jumeirah is seeking an experienced Western governess to work with their two youngest sons, aged 7 and 4. The household is fully staffed and the boys' older siblings have their own dedicated nannies, so the role is entirely focused on the two younger children.

The role

The family want a governess who will lead the boys' development outside of school with structure and purpose. Homework and school routine are the priority, with the family keen for both boys to build strong habits early. Beyond the desk, the role is hands-on and active: planning activities, baking, outings around Dubai and creative projects at home. There are no cooking or laundry duties.

The family travel regularly to London and Spain, with ski trips through the season. The governess will travel with them and should be comfortable with an international, on-the-move lifestyle.

Hours

Five days a week, live-out, in Dubai. The mother travels for work, so a degree of flexibility with overtime is essential.

Who we are looking for

A teaching qualification or classroom management experience is a significant advantage

Previous private household or governess experience with children of similar ages

Strong initiative and the confidence to run the boys' routine independently

Warm and engaging, with firm but kind boundaries

Flexible on travel and hours
