About the role

A family in Al Furjan, near Jumeirah Park, is looking for a lovely nanny for their four-year-old son, with a new baby arriving in January. This is a purely child-focused role but the nanny may be asked to do the occasional light housekeeping duties in this position.

The role

The day is mostly built around their son. He attends nursery, so hours run either side of nursery times. The family wants someone who takes the lead on activities and gets properly involved, swimming with him, going out and doing things, playing an active part in his development rather than supervising from the background.

Fun matters, but so does firmness. He needs someone who holds boundaries warmly and consistently.

Mum is currently on maternity leave and will return to work, so support with the baby will become part of the role alongside care of the four-year-old. Hours will grow with that as the baby arrives and mum returns.

There are two dogs in the house, so comfort around dogs is essential. A UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Package

Salary: AED 8,000 per month

Live-out preferred

Start date: 5 October 2026

Permanent, full-time

Visa and medical insurance included, as standard with all Nova roles.
