About the family A British family in Meadows 7 are looking for an experienced, proactive nanny from September for their daughter, who will be four months old. Both parents run their own businesses, so some days will be entirely child-focused and others will lean more towards the home. Someone comfortable moving between both will do well here.

The role Full care of a young baby: sleep routines, weaning and development. The family want someone who plans and structures the day properly, with activities, walks, play and reading, and who prepares the baby's meals as needed. The family are clear on their approach: no screen-led childcare, and minimal personal phone use around their daughter.

Household support, when time allows, includes washing and ironing, general cleaning and tidying, and keeping the home organised. Childcare is always the priority.

Hours run roughly 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday, settling around their daughter's sleep schedule. One day a week has a later start and finish so the parents can have an evening out. Occasional evening and weekend overtime is paid. The family travel internationally each year, and the nanny is welcome to travel with them or take that period as time off.

Who will suit this Someone very experienced and confident with babies, infant first aid trained, ideally formally qualified, with a strong understanding of feeding, sleep and development, organised, with strong spoken English, warm, patient and trustworthy, and with excellent references. Above all, someone who genuinely enjoys caring for children and will be attentive, affectionate and fully engaged.
