About the family A French family in Jumeirah are looking for an experienced, warm and energetic full-time nanny for their two daughters, aged six and four. This is a dedicated nanny role, not a governess post and not a nanny housekeeper. The family employ a separate full-time housekeeper, so no general cleaning is required.

The role Days are built around after-school life: outings, playdates, games, reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play and swimming, with natural support for learning and homework. The role is not academically focused, but the family would like someone educated who can help the girls along.

They want someone engaged rather than passive. Initiative and energy matter: someone who plays, takes the girls swimming, gets them to their activities and creates a happy atmosphere around them. The nanny keeps the girls' bedrooms and playroom tidy and well organised, and encourages the girls to tidy up after themselves.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 1pm to 8pm, Friday 10am to 8pm, and Saturday 9am to 8pm. No morning help before school is needed. Saturday is a regular working day, so Saturday availability is essential. Some flexibility is needed for occasional evening babysitting and international family travel, particularly in some school holidays.

Who will suit this Someone with fluent English and excellent communication, educated and able to support reading and homework naturally, experienced with young children with excellent verifiable references, dynamic and active, a strong and confident swimmer, patient and cheerful while able to hold boundaries, creative, organised and safety conscious, and comfortable around pets. Paediatric first aid is preferred. Open to candidates already in the UAE and to exceptional international candidates willing to relocate.
