A British couple in Mira Oasis are looking for a live-in nanny for their daughter, who is ten months old. She is their first baby and this is their first nanny, so they are looking for someone who becomes part of the family rather than someone who simply comes to work. They need someone in place as soon as possible.

Both parents work full time. Mum is a head teacher, so the weeks are busy and the household needs someone dependable at the centre of it. That is why live-in matters.

The Role

The focus is entirely on their daughter. Weaning is underway, naps still shape the day, and the months ahead bring walking, first words and everything that comes with them. They want someone who finds all of that genuinely interesting. Formal training is welcome but not essential. Attitude counts for far more here, along with real warmth and a wish to be part of this little girl's development rather than just supervise it.

This is a no-screens home, and that applies to the nanny too. Phones are not part of the working day. The expectation is proper attention on the baby, play, stories, floor time and getting outside.

They are hands-on parents with clear views on how they want their daughter raised, so this suits someone who takes direction well and talks things through openly. They want to be involved in the decisions.

There are two dogs at home, so being comfortable around dogs is essential.

Live-in accommodation with a private room is provided. Above all, they want to find the right person once and keep her for years.

The Ideal Candidate

Warm, patient and genuinely interested in early development. Confident with weaning, nap routines and first-year milestones. Happy in a no-screens home and comfortable staying off their phone through the working day. Comfortable around dogs. Takes direction well and communicates openly with parents. Available immediately and looking for a long-term family home.
