Live-in private housekeeper for a French family. Excellent cleaning, laundry and organisation, plus daily breakfast preparation. Private room, visa and insurance.
A French family in Jumeirah, Dubai, with two young children is looking for an experienced full-time, live-in private housekeeper to join their household on a long-term basis.
This is a professional housekeeper position, rather than a nanny role. The primary responsibilities are the upkeep, laundry and organisation of the home, along with preparing breakfast for the family each morning. The housekeeper should be comfortable around young children, but childcare is not the primary responsibility.
The role Maintain excellent cleaning standards with exceptional attention to detail. Manage laundry and ironing, including proper care of delicate and high-quality clothing. Keep wardrobes, linens and the household organised. Work independently and proactively, noticing what needs doing and maintaining consistently high standards without constant supervision.
Prepare and serve a simple, healthy family breakfast each morning, setting the table before the children leave for school at 7:15am and clearing the breakfast table and kitchen afterwards. Additional simple family cooking would be appreciated but is not essential.
Hours Six days per week, approximately 6:30am to 6:30pm, with proper breaks during the day and one full day off each week.
Package AED 5,000–6,000 per month, depending on experience and references, plus a private room, visa and medical insurance. The family will consider a higher salary for an exceptional candidate with extensive private household experience and excellent laundry, ironing and household management skills.
The ideal candidate An experienced, meticulous and naturally organised private housekeeper who takes pride in looking after a home. Previous experience with European or international families in Dubai or the UAE is preferred. Good spoken English, discretion, trustworthiness and excellent verifiable references are important. The family ideally prefers an experienced Filipina candidate but is open to an exceptional candidate of another nationality.
